Where has the time gone? Our first born has turned 11. It seems like yesterday I was checking into the hospital, scared to death, to have my first child. And now he is on the verge of being a teenager. I need to slow the hands of time, it's all going to fast!
Ben is an awesome kid. As his Mom I can say that!
~He's smart; he was accepted into the school's Gifted and Talented program. Only the top 3% of the kids in his grade (throughout the entire school district) were accepted. He'll now follow this program through his senior year.
~He's athletic; He plays select Baseball for the Denton Sliders 11u team. He rocks at second base and has turned into a really good hitter. Ben is know for his speed around the bases and loves to steal. Give him the chance and he'll steal all the way home! Ben also plays soccer for the local rec club. He plays it to "keep his speed up". He loves to run. Obviously he didn't get that from me!!
His passion is baseball.
~Ben is also a natural born leader. His coaches and teachers love him.
