Nuttiness

With the start of school so begins the nuttiness here at the McConnell Zoo!
Why does EVERYTHING have to be at the same time? This week school started. (!) Ben is in 5th grade, he now attends a different school then his brother Ryan, who is in 2nd grade. Ryan leaves for school at 7:30 in the morning. Ben leaves for school at 7:45. Ryan gets home at 3:15 and Ben gets home at 4:40. Ok, it's been a little hard getting use to the new times but I am. Throw on top of that the fact that Ryan's baseball started practice this week and so did Ben's soccer and baseball teams. Ryan has to be to practice on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30 in Flower Mound, which is about a 25 minute drive for me. Ben has to be to soccer at 6:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays too! His soccer is local, less than 10 minutes from the house. But in order to get everyone where they need to go I need to leave the house at 5:00, remember, Ben doesn't get home until 4:40, he needs to eat, drink, get soccer ready, all by 5pm to drop Ryan off at baseball practice, then drive back here to get Ben dropped off for soccer. Then I come home and feed Will and Ava dinner. Steve leaves his job in Dallas at 5:00 to meet Ryan at practice around 6:00. Practice finishes at 7:00. Steve and Ryan then drive to Ben's soccer to pick him up at 7:30. They are then all home by 7:50 for showers, dinner and bedtime! WHEW! That's just two days of the week. The other days are spent with Ben either at baseball practice and/or doing his homework load.... (those darn GT students get more homework then the other 5th graders..... ah the joys of having a son with brains!), Ryan has homework too and little Will will be starting gymnastics in September!
Did all that make sense? My head is spinning... but I will get use to that too!
